Romantic Comedy Tagline's

I am going to be looking a various tagline from a range of romantic comedy films to see if theres common themes within them that come up. I decided to do this as it's an important part of the marketing campaign as the tagline for my film will run across both the movie poster and the teaser trailer which helps links the two together.

I found many similarities between these taglines. For example many of them include the word "love" or make reference to romance. Most taglines also mentioned the obstacle that was stopping the two central protagonists from being together. Although the tagline may make reference to the obstacle it doesn't give too much information, causing suspense for the audience and therefore it makes them want to see the film. In addition, many of the taglines make reference to both a women and man.
