Possible Music For My Teaser Trailer

When analysing teaser trailers I looked at what kind of music was played in them. I found that they all had up beat and happy music reflecting the light hearted genre, and then some music that is less up tempo when outlining the obstacle thats stopping the two central protagonists being together. I tried to find some pieces of music that I thought might be appropriate for my teaser trailer.

Possible Magazine Front Cover Images

When taking photos of the male central protagonist of my film for my magazine front cover, I knew I wanted to him to look smart and strong as he is a 'dating expert'. I used an Total Film magazine front cover that featured 'James Bond' as my inspiration.

Potential Images For My Poster

For my poster, I decided to take separate photos of the male and female central protagonists as I knew they were meant to be separated on the poster anyway. I wanted the male central protagonist to be looking at the girl lovingly, while she looks either away from him or to the audience. When taking the photos, I used the film posters for "The Back-up Plan" and "The Ugly Truth" as my inspiration.

After looking at many different mainstream magazine front covers I understand the typical kinds of layouts often used, and so I have sketched some possible layouts for my cover baring all of what I discovered through research in mind.

Possible Poster Layouts

Before designing my poster I need to sketch some possible layouts. After looking at many different posters from the romantic comedy genre I understand how genre affects layouts, and so I have sketched some possible layouts for my poster baring all of what I discovered through research in mind.
